Grandma Kathy got lots of bonding time with James. They ate together, went for walks, napped together (we actually spied one awesome group nap with Grandma, James, and Nomar the cat), played at the pond, and played on the deck together. He also got to spend time with his Great Grandma Ruth, and his two Great Aunts Denise and Mary. James is so lucky to have so many wonderful people who love him.

Kevin's family even planned a nice family dinner on Sunday night so that we could all spend time together. We were lucky enough to have the Cocos join us, and Grandma Kathy made her famous meatballs. James was occupied with his two Great Aunts vying for his love.

Monday we visited Great Grandma Catherine (more on that later). Monday night, Great Aunt Denise generously babysat him, so we used our extra free time to take Grandma Kathy to dinner at one of our favorite lobster roll places, Summer Shanty. Kevin and I even got to go to a movie after dinner. This is a rare treat for us. We saw Moonrise Kingdom at Cape Cinema. The movie is awesome, and so was the indie movie theater we saw it in.

Tuesday we spent some time at the pond, and some time cooking Cuban food at Great Grandma Ruth's. Wednesday was the 4th of July (more on that later), but it was mostly good times at the beach with all our Cape friends. James especially got to hang out with his best friend Ellen.
