Thanksgiving 2018

We had two Thanksgivings this year. The first was a bonus Thanksgiving dinner with family the Sunday before at Great-Grandma Ruth's Assisted Living. The second was the regular family celebration.

On the real day of Thanksgiving, Katie, Mike, Chris, and Mary joined us. We had a million mimosas, and all the Thanksgiving things, and celebrated Andrew's birthday.

We made one more stop in Maryland to visit Katie and Mike. We had a delicious dinner and then, unfortunately, Miranda started running a big fever which cut down on the fun. James played a little bit of chess with Mike and wasn't too worried though. Grownups had a little time at night to chat.

Cape Cod - September 2017

Great-grandma Ruth recently moved into a posh retirement home. So this weekend, Kevin took the kids to visit, and also helped Grandma Kathy move into Great-grandma's old house. I stayed home to catch up on stuff before school starts.

Saturday, Kevin, Steve, Mike, and Chris helped Grandma Kathy move. How lucky to have so many strong helpful men in the family. Katie took the kids to Grandma Kathy's new place. After phase 1 of the move was done, some of the helpers went to Bayview Beach.

Cape Cod - June 2017

Thursday we picked up James on his last day of Kindergarten and took the Ferry on our way to visit family on Cape Cod.
