Millard students will likely wear masks in the fall

Millard students will likely wear masks in the fall, and other districts haven't ruled it out

"Students in the Millard Public Schools will likely be wearing masks at school in the fall and could face other substantial changes because of COVID-19.

The district has ordered 60,000 masks, two masks for every teacher and student, officials said.": https://www.omaha.com/news/education/millard-students-likely-wear-masks-in-the-fall-and-other-districts-havent-ruled-it-out/article_da3eec8c-8f09-5937-8516-73ef8766643b.html

Antibody Tests Now Available 2020

Kevin took an antibody test on Monday, and we're kind of sad he got negative. We were kind of hoping we had it in March since 1) we survived March and 2) we could maybe approach life in a more relaxed way now, as many people around us have been doing. On the other hand, I'm glad we don't have to worry about the long-term consequences of the virus.

Coronavirus- May 20, 2020

I'm horrified that we're approaching 100,000 American deaths. We're at 95,000 tonight, and it's no longer a question of if we're getting to 100,000, but only of which day this week. That's the size of some of our American cities like South Bend, Indiana, or Edison, New Jersey. It's so hard to understand.

Mom Camp 2020

I wasn't that happy that school ended two weeks early here because of coronavirus and I'm not sure of how ready Miranda is for first grade at her school, so mean mom is making them work over the summer. I did sell it to them so they're excited about other stuff we're doing but they're definitely going to have to learn for the 10 weeks of summer.

Starting Self-Isolation 2020

We're going to stop going to school or work now. Enough is enough! Our Spring Break starts Saturday but it feels so arbitrary and insane to go in one more day just to make it to the official Spring Break. Officially, there are 1,663 cases of COVID-19 in the United States 40 people have died in the United States. Nebraska officially has 11 cases, but I don't feel confident in any of the numbers.

Also, Kevin went to the doctor today because he has congestion in his chest, so we should also quarantine since he's sick. No one can get a test in Nebraska unless they just came back from China or touched someone that was somehow able to get the test already.

So that's that, we're not going out again except to grocery store after I pick up kids from school today.
