Baby Sadie 2018!

Mike and Havi had a beautiful baby girl Sadie. Good thing Mike was a beautiful baby because she looks exactly like him! Her mom is also beautiful, so I guess either way she was going to be crazy cute. I ran right over to Manhattan to meet her.

Baby Isabela 2017!

Isabela Josephine is here! Her parents, Michele and Brandon, and her two brothers, Miles and Izaac, are calling her Ela Jo. She's a lucky little baby as she gets a huge fabulous family that lives in the same area. Congratulations! I have to start planning my trip to Richmond!

Janice and Darren have a daughter!! This is especially remarkable because they only found out about her August 5, and she came a month later! That would make anyone's head spin! The little lady already knows how to make a dramatic entrance. And she's crazy beautiful! Welcome to the family Ellie! You have super awesome parents!

Baby Leo 2016!

Jamie and Emily had an adorable baby boy Leo! He wasn't due until July, but Leo has announced to the world that he does as he pleases and he didn't want to miss summer. He's little but he's mighty and healthy. For now he spends a lot of time in the NICU with his fun-loving parents, but I'm sure he'll be home soon. Leo's parents are passionate about their loves: bicycling, medicine, dancing like no one is watching, and their cat, but Leo is sure to be their biggest and most fabulous obsession.

Baby Sylvie 2016!

Allison and Dan had the most gorgeous little baby girl. Babies are not actually supposed to be so good-looking this early on, but here's the proof.

Sylvie. For when people ask later, yes, she was born that beautiful.

And she's going to have the best life! Her parents are the doting kind, just ask their two fur babies. There will be so many fresh blueberries, hikes, intelligent conversation in her life.

My law school "little sister" Sarah and her husband Aaron had a beautiful, healthy, and already very expressive baby boy. I can't believe a tiny person like Sarah had a baby that's over 8 pounds but that's great. It means good health! Congratulations! You guys are going to be the awesomest and most fun parents! This is a very special post because in a past life, Jackie was a unicorn. And now, she's had a baby. It's Rob's baby too and he's also special because he's married to a unicorn. We have an abundance of wonderful red heads in our life. I am so excited to introduce you to the littlest one, the super beautiful Lio. Sarah and Lukas had her last week, and I'm counting the seconds to meet her. So far she appears to be smiling in all her pictures. This isn't a skill babies ordinarily possess until they're about a month old, so I've decided she's almost certainly a genius. But I might be biased because I love her already.

This means that of all my law school friends who have had babies so far, all of them had a boy first (and I'm the only one with two yet): James, Carter, William, Luke, Caleb, and Maxwell! In fact, the blog babies are now 21 boys  to 15 girls! (And two of my friends are responsible for 6 of those girls!)

Baby Caleb 2013!

Roger and Lina had their baby boy Caleb Alejandro this weekend. He's a darling little peanut! He came a bit early as he was due at the beginning of January, but a bit more surprisingly he is very blond. Really wasn't imagining him blond! Haha! He's our own little New Years Baby this year. Welcome, Caleb!

Jane and Rob had a beautiful baby boy Luke this week! They waited to find out if they were having a boy or a girl so it's kind of a fun surprise for everyone. He's is beyond adorable! Look at that full head of hair. Absolutely everyone is already in love with him.

Isaac Turns Five 2013!

Isaac is one of my friend-babies that was born in the pre-blog era so he didn't have a post to celebrate his arrival in the world. I can't believe he's already turned 5! I still remember me and Kevin rushing over to meet him for the first time, and how awkward I felt holding a baby back then. He's had numerous celebrations this week with his school, his family, and even with some special sushi, but here's one more little guy. You're every bit as awesome as your mother says you are!

Jon and Becky had a baby boy last week! His name is Benjamin Elliot and he is the cutest snuggliest little guy you will ever meet. I know because I rushed over to meet him as soon as I could.

He was born at 6 pounds and 4 ounces. I have never held a baby that small before, and he's so lovely. (James weighed more than that 4 weeks before he was born.) Did I mention how excited we were to meet him?

Jon and Becky are so happy and in love with their little guy. Becky looks great, but I decided not to even attempt torturing her with photos. Jon was fair game though. You can see his love and adoration positively oozing out of him in this photo.

James took an interest in Ben as well, and between our visit and all the time I spent looking at photos of Ben on my computer, James learned how to say "baby" this week. That's a fun story for when they're 4 and 5 years old.
