Imaginary Gardens Reading 2018

On Tuesday, Liz Kay and Kevin had a reading at Mr. Toad's. Liz read from her novel, Monsters: A Love Story, and Kevin read from his short story collection. He read one of my favorites, "The Third Prophet of Wyaconda.

Gene Leahy Mall 2018

We were planning to take the kids to Pugoween, but we were sidetracked by how expensive Pugoween and we don't even have a pug! So we took the kids to Gene Leahy Mall instead.

Durham Museum 2018

We also went to The Durham Museum this weekend which is a train museum in downtown Omaha. After Amtrak was created, Union Pacific Railroad closed its Union Station in Omaha, but the station was preserved as it was for a museum.
