Havi's Bridal Shower 2016

Last weekend, we celebrated Havi and Mike's upcoming nuptials with a bridal shower for Havi in Hoboken, New Jersey.

Casey Visits- June 2015

Casey visited last week. He and Kevin did the tour of bars in our neighborhood on Monday night, and he and Kevin went to visit Jon in Hoboken on Tuesday night. Except for Kevin's disastrous experience with the Path, good times all around.

Brian and Paul in Hoboken 2014

Brian and Paul met Kevin, the kids, and me for dinner in Hoboken. They picked a very family-friendly place, Arthur's Tavern but I was a little frazzled because my kids are not great dinner companions. It was great to see Brian again! I can't even remember the last time I saw Paul, and so I was very behind. He got to tell me all about his wife, and I even get to meet her in a few weeks at Jackie and Rob's wedding. It was awesome of them to make time to have dinner with us!

Visiting Jon & Becky in Hoboken 2014

We stopped by Jon and Becky's place in Hoboken for the afternoon. Jon and Kevin took Ben and James to the park while Miranda and I power-napped together which is why I have a lack of exciting pictures of the visit. But I did get one before we left.

We've been overdue for an outing with David and Melanie for a long time, and they both graduated from college this spring, so we went out to dinner to celebrate. David passed his Series 7 exam and is working in financial planning. Melanie is gearing up to take optometry exams this fall. The two of them are smart, awesome, and adorable in no particular order.

We went to a nice BYOB Italian family restaurant in Hoboken. I don't think I've been out in Hoboken since I was in college so probably twelve years ago! It's cuter than I remember it, and it's no mystery why so many people from my hometown move there when they move out on their own.
