My grandmother Daisy celebrates her birthday in July so I try to go visit her as close to her birthday as possible. Now that we have a little one, it's even more important to visit frequently since they grow up quickly and have short memories. He's learned so much since
his last visit in January. James was able to say a few more things in Spanish on this visit although not too much. He pronounced "abuelita" valiantly. And he rocked a little Cuban-style outfit she gave him at Christmastime. Poor little guy, I couldn't stop laughing at him all day!

Afterwards, we grabbed delicious Cuban sandwiches and a croquette sandwich (yum!) and swung by my mom's place. She's babysitting for us while we're out of town in a few weeks but this gave usa chance to actually spend a little time with her.
