Nana Visits- June 2013

My mom came to visit this weekend, and she wanted to take James somewhere fun so we decided to try our local farm again. I figured this time James would be able to feed the animals himself.

Unfortunately they moved the majority of the animals over to a new area where kids pay extra to interact with the animals. Seems to defeat the point of having a community farm for city kids if you have to pay extra for the main experience (you already have to buy the feed). We ignored the whole thing, and found some goats on the far end of the property that got all the feed we bought. James didn't care. He was super excited to feed the goats, and even counted all 5 of them. He can count to 10 but I've never seen him actually put it to use before.
