Cape Cod Date- June 2016

We didn't even try to go out while we were on the Cape, but Grandma Kathy in her infinite kindness sent us out to do something on Monday afternoon. We stopped by this bookstore that we love walking around in, though truthfully we never buy anything. We should correct that on our next visit.

Kevin wanted to do a little hiking. We went to the Barnstable Great Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary. The fact that I currently only have sneakers (my hiking boots fell apart on my birthday hike this year) is less of an issue on the Cape where the hikes are mostly flat.

Kevin explained to me that these rocks are "erratics." Apparently that's a rock that differs from the surrounding rock and is believed to have been brought to the area by a glacier.

For lunch we went to one of our favorite places, Sesuit Harbor and got lobster rolls. Then we went to not-my-favorite ice cream at The Ice Cream Smuggler.
