For winter break from law school, Katy and I went to a resort in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. We did nothing but veg out. Katy might have been more active, but unfortunately, she caught a cold or flu and had to take it easy. I think I discovered I have trouble relaxing completely though as I started reading my book as quickly as possible to "get things done." I also tried to drink as much as possible because drinks were included, but I also discovered that I can't drink for two days in a row. It gets... boring. At least I don't have to worry about developing a problem.

Mostly I just sat on the beach, drinking lots of colorful all-inclusive drinks, and reading books for pleasure. No law school books here! I was reading The End of the Affair by Graham Greene and Memoria de mis Putas Tristes by Gabriel García Márquez.
