Halloween 2018

Halloween was huge this year. The kids were invited to wear their costumes to ballet and Gymnastics earlier this week (James's costume didn't work for flips but his class was pretty fun). Then yesterday, Miranda had a preschool storytime with crafts and parade at James's elementary school; James had a parade and a treats-and-craft party at his school; Miranda had her treats and crafts party first followed by a parade at her school; then I went back to pick up James and take the kids trick-or-treating. It was nuts!

Miranda's First Field Trip 2018

Miranda took her first field trip with her Pre-K class to a pumpkin farm. She was super excited about both the bus ride and the actual pumpkin picking.

Fontenelle Forest is a conservation area right in Omaha. It's a good way to get out to nature without going far from home. We were big fans!

American Midwest Ballet 2018

So many date nights! This was a special request by me because I love to go to the ballet or any dance performance. This particular performance was held in the art museum auditorium, but I'm hoping to see a performance at the Orpheum soon.
