Miranda's PreK Graduation 2019

My baby girl finished half-day 5-day a week PreK at Cottonwood Elementary in Omaha. She will start at public kindergarten next fall at James's elementary school. Her PreK had a little graduation ceremony.

The kids also had their second spring field trip to All Play Sports Playground, and their third the week after to the Omaha Children's Museum. Lucky kids!

Memorial Day at Omaha Storm Chasers 2019

Kevin thought it would be fun to take the family to the Omaha Storm Chasers minor league baseball game at Werner Center to celebrate Memorial Day. Ha ha! We all lasted like 15 minutes before the kids begged to go over to the kids' playground.

Aksarben Farmer's Market 2019

This was our first time at the Aksarben Farmer's Market together. Aksarben is a neighborhood in Omaha that used to be where the horse track was. "Aksarben" is just Nebraska written backward! So cheesy! The kids loved the donuts.

James's 2nd Grade Olympic Day 2019

James's school does an Olympic Day. Each classroom represents a country, and this year James's country is Brazil. The kids have an official-looking opening ceremony and then play games at various locations around the outside and inside of the school all day. At the end of the day, they have closing ceremonies. I was especially excited to hear them sing in Spanish during the closing ceremonies.
