Jon and Ben came over to visit. The kids had so much fun playing with Ben! And since Ben and I are the ones most interested in building Lego projects, I also had a lot of fun with Ben.

More March Snow 2018

James had an early dismissal yesterday and a delayed opening today! Miranda goes to school Wednesday and Friday morning so she didn't miss any school this time. So much for the first day of Spring!

Nolan and Ella are brother and sister and are the same ages as James and Miranda. Nolan went to Kindergarten with James and Ella goes to nursery school with Miranda. James and Miranda were so excited to have them come over!

St. Patrick's Day 2018

We had lots of fun this year for St. Patrick's Day. We went to our local parade, Kevin made corned beef, and we wore green for what felt like a week.

My 39th Birthday in Brookhaven 2018

My birthday fell on Friday this year, so Kevin took me for a sushi lunch. Since we don't currently have a babysitter we just took Miranda with us while James was in school. She refused to eat any sushi though and ordered chocolate cake instead like it was her birthday.

Over the weekend Ash came to visit me. We had some wine Friday night and then we went adventuring on Long Island on Saturday. We had brunch at American Cheese, got coffee at Infuse, went for a walk at Sayville beach park, and visited Ash's great aunt, great uncle, and is great cousin a thing? Then we hit happy hour at Wasabi, picked up more sushi and ice cream cake and went home. Fun day!

NCAA- ACC Semifinals in Brooklyn 2018

UVa buddies Lukas, Nick, Brady, Briggs, and Kevin went to the ACC Tournament semifinals in Barclays Center in Brooklyn. They sawy the UVa-Clemson game and the UNC-Duke game. UVa is going into the NCAA as #1.

Snowstorm 2018

We had another snowstorm yesterday, winter storm Quinn, or just "the nor'easter." It wasn't a lot of snow, but seriously it all came down at once in an hour and it was kind of scary. Anyway, it was enough snow to make this little guy after school today.
