Christmas in Omaha 2018

This was our first Christmas with just the four of us at home. It was nice and low-key. We had a nice dinner and baked cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve. We talked about Nana and Nochebuena. We also Facetimed Grandma on Christmas and talked to all of Kevin's family.

Andrew Visits Nebraska 2018

Kevin's brother Andrew came to visit us in Omaha before moving back to Japan.

We got a babysitter, had dinner at El Basha, and went to a Creighton game!

Woo!!!

We got some burgers Omaha Tap House, and then walked it off on the West Papio Trail.

We tried to go hiking at the Hitchcock Nature Center- but it was too muddy

We still got to see the view from Iowa of Omaha

We spent a little time learning inside the Nature Center

Imaginary Gardens Reading 2018

On Tuesday, Liz Kay and Kevin had a reading at Mr. Toad's. Liz read from her novel, Monsters: A Love Story, and Kevin read from his short story collection. He read one of my favorites, "The Third Prophet of Wyaconda.

James's Holiday Recital 2018

James is taking gymnastics for the first time this year, and they had a small mid-year Holiday performance. Kevin, Miranda, and I went and enjoyed it!
