    April School Break 2017

James has a week off school in February and in April. Unfortunately, Kevin's week off is in March. So we were stuck at home, but luckily a million things were happening here. James had 3 t-ball games during Spring Break (including his first game on 4/8), a playdate, and our library did free professional photos.

    First T-Ball Game 2017

The first game was a home game versus Thunder. All though that's a big joke because all the games are the exact same field. We had individual and team pictures beforehand and then the Emeralds started in the field.

    First T-Ball Game 2017
    Parents are SO ready!

T-ball is adorable and when the kids go up to bat they always get to go to the next base. When the last kid is up to bat, he "gets a home run" and all the players run home. I didn't get this at first at thought Thunder was destroying us. But it quickly started making sense when I saw James stay at first even after the first baseman got the ball there. I could have cried with happiness. I thought he was going to be out right away.

    PJFL Butterfly Story Craft 2017

T-ball was cancelled last minute because the field was soaked so we drove straight to the library and got in some butterfly and caterpillar crafts before butterfly story time. Woo!
